Open call for submissions from August 24 to September 30, 2025

To celebrate the holiday season, Le Livart’s spaces will come alive on December 20 and 21, 2025, for the eighth edition of the items market. A fair for discoveries and encounters, this event—now a highlight of the art center—showcases the work of Montreal-based artists, artisans, and designers.

More than just a commercial market, items is a space that fosters socialization and sharing in a spirit of collaboration to celebrate this season.

As part of the winter edition of the market, Le Livart is launching its call for submissions.

If you are a creator of design objects, natural products, clothing, jewelry, or other items relevant to the project, and you would like to participate in our next edition, please do not hesitate to submit your application.

Practical Information:

Location: Le Livart: 3980 R. Saint-Denis, Montreal, QC H2W 2M2.

The market will take place in the gallery.

Event Dates:

Friday, December 19, 2025: Setup
Saturday, December 20, 2025: Market open to the public
Sunday, December 21, 2025: Market open to the public (teardown at the end of the day)

Participation Details:

• Registration fee for selected participants: $350 + tax. Visuals of the available spaces are included in the items market introduction package (downloadable PDF, Items 08 – marché d’hiver 2025).
• No commission or additional fees on sales for selected participants.
• Some basic display furniture (wooden tables/high chairs/white pedestals) can be provided by Le Livart. However, selected participants are responsible for bringing any other furniture necessary for presenting their space. A set number of hours will be allocated for setup and teardown.
• Selected participants are responsible for their own sales and must bring their own payment terminal.
• Selected participants will be invited to take part in the communications surrounding the event.

  How to Apply:

  Please submit your application as a single PDF that includes the following information in the order listed below:

• A descriptive text of the artistic approach and creative process
• Links to social media and/or website
• A presentation of the products for sale (description, price range, a few photos)

Application deadline:

• September 30, 2025.

A confirmation email will be sent to you within a week of receiving your application.
